Mission Statement

Project: In Kind is “Spreading Kindness Hand to Hand, Heart to Heart”. This a 501(c)(3) non-profit was created to bring some joy to the world, by doing good deeds for others. Doing a good deed for others can give a positive feeling to the doer and the receiver of the deed. Our hope is that it will continue to be passed along until we reach a wave of good deeds happening in our community, country, and world.

An International Beginning

This idea was copied from Libor Horeni, the owner of Dobro Kava, in Brno, Czech Republic. He sets up a coffee cart in Cabbage Market Square and gives out “free” coffee, at least monetary wise. The coffee is paid by doing a kindness of choice for someone else. I was the recipient of a “free” four ounce mocha in 2019 and its warm memory helped me start Project: In Kind.
